This is an illustrated guide to help you format your SD card.
If your camera is not reading the SD card: make sure you have the right kind- SDHC/SDXC class 10 or higher.
If you have the right SD card, and your camera is still not reading it: format the SD card and ignore the prompt that says it is not recognized.
