This product is an overall good value. However, some considerable drawbacks and oddities lower it's overall quality to "decent". To start, the display resolution is good enough to read and interact with the menus easily. The brightness is good enough to comfortably see the screen. The screen reflects some, but it is not severe. The main camera quality is good. Something to note is that the camera cannot record in 4k when the rear 1080p camera is connected and active. So you have to choose between having 4k front only, or 1080p front + 1080p back. The marketing and product details are misleading by advertising "4k + 1080p". The unit's internal speakers are loud enough to hear directions, music, or phone calls over the sounds of maxed out AC or bumpy roads. The menus are mostly easy to navigate. There are some bizarre design decisions such as making the confirm button red and the cancel button blue (the exact opposite of standard confirmation dialog coloring). Getting your dash cam recordings is more difficult than it should be. The SD Card slot's spring is a little too recessed into the slot, you have to struggle with your nail to lock the card in or eject it. For some reason, the Rexing CPDuo Pro does NOT connect to the Rexing Connect app (the app used to easily view, download, and manipulate your dash cam recordings or pictures from your phone). Instead, you have to download the 3rd party "Viidure" app. The app functions well, but you have to activate the "WiFi Video" mode on the unit first, then you connect to a WiFi network that is separate from the one the unit creates when you are in Carplay/Android Auto mode. It would have been nice if everything could have been easily accessed with one WiFi network and one app. The manual is a little inaccurate in some places, such as the diagram on page 5 that shows the ports on the wrong side of the unit and a different mount design. The manual could have also explained setting up the rear camera's auto reverse function better. You have no clue that you have to connect the exposed red wire to your car's reverse lights to make the auto reverse camera function if you only read the overly vague manual. The right side of the unit often gets very hot, but the performance of the system remains stable. One last thing I wish this unit did better was physical buttons. It would have been really nice to have an additional physical button on the top of the unit to lock the current video when driving. It would make it much safer and easier to quickly lock a video of a important event, instead of fiddling with the touchscreen to get to the correct menu to press the correct button (which is much harder to do while driving). Despite these issues, I still think the Rexing CPDuo Pro is a good value product with acceptable quality. I hope that Rexing publishes software updates to address some of the software oddities currently present in this model. I also hope that they refine their hardware designs (and included documentation) for future models. I think there is potential for Rexing to make much higher quality products that will earn the full 5 stars and "wow!" from me in the future.

The description of the product says that it comes with a free 32 GB memory card. Mine didn't have it in the box. Not to worry though, I didn't plan on using it opting for a 256 GB card. After I first installed it, it would lose time and date when I turned off the ignition. I sent a message to customer service provided the serial number and they mailed me an SD card with new firmware that corrected the issue. I guess that's how you get the free memory card,

Now that the issue with time and date is fixed, I am loving it. The unit switches between phones more easily than my car does. I share a car with my son and my iPhone connects to the car automatically, his iPhone we have to manually switch to. The unit itself detects which phone is in the car and connects to it flawlessly.

The extra wide screen is great and the care play works great. The on screen menus could be better but work fine. Glare is a real issue in my set up so I did buy an after market anti glare screen protector. I suggest Rexing market a cut to size one as I feel most people will need it.
