Once I got started I found it easy to set up an install with the easy-to-understand instructions. I live in a large metropolitan area with freeways. I placed this in our pickup which is used daily. The camera is clear during the day and night. It has so many handy features. If you are considering a dash cam, I recommend this one.

The quality on this dash cam is excellent! It also connects to your cell phone so you can view what the camera sees. I have owned another Rexing, but this one steps up the quality and ease of use (especially with the ability to connect and change settings with your phone.

I bought the V1 Max because of the increased resolution of 3840 x 2160 and the built-in GPS. Having the built-in GPS makes the installation much easier and cleaner (no external GPS antenna as in previous models). The windshield mount has also been improved – the camera now slips in from the side instead of from the top as in older units. This allows it to be mounted right below the mirror. Very nice dashcam! I would definitely recommend this.
