Purchased this extension cable because the J1772 cable (Level 1) that came with the EV wasn’t long enough to reach from wall outlet to vehicle. This cable is heavy duty, weather resistant, and intended to be used for an EV. Most outdoor lawn extension cables aren’t heavy duty enough. Using the wrong one could start a fire. I like that this cable can also be used with a level 2 charger. Both ends of the cable have a cap to help keep dirt/debris out while plugging in or while storing. It also came with nice carrying bag. Finally, purchasing it on the Rexing USA website was on sale and cheaper than BestBuy and Amazon. Recommend!
