I was always buying the car charger USB ports from places like Wal Mart, Target, etc. I always threw them away. I decided to invest a little more money in this one, and it’s great! No more worrying about the device not plugging in all the way, turning it to try and make it “work”, etc. Good, small investment! I like how it lights up so that you know it’s fully engaged.

This is my fourth USB charger, and it is the best. None of the previous ones (more expensive) couldn’t deliver the power/current rating specified.

I recently submitted a terrible review for this product becauseit wasn’twhat I thoughtwas a fast charger. The company reached out to me and suggested I get a better charging cable, and I did, and now am completely satisfied and would recommend this product.

I bought this to use on a long drive to my brothers. It was a 14 four drive. The phone battery started at 95% and after a short while it went to 100% and stayed there for the duration of the trip. Some reviews said the unit got very hot, but I kept feeling the charger and it didn’t even register as warm. I really liked the low profile and it seems to be quite durable. I am only using one of the ports, so I placed a dummy rubber USB plug into the unused port to keep stuff out of it. I can’t attest to this units longevity, but so far so good.

Don’t know, it’s still in the box with the 2nd unit I bought for gifting.
