When connected to a Rexing dash cam, the speed and location of your vehicle will be stamped to your videos as you drive. You can then access this information while playing back your recordings using the free GPS Logger desktop software.

The Rexing GPS Logger is a compatible accessory only to be used with Rexing V1 Basic, V1-4K, V1P-4K and M1 Pro, M2 Max, M2 Max Pro, M2 -4, V1 FHD, and M4-4 dash cams. When connected to a compatible dash cam, it will record the speed and location of your vehicle as you drive. You can then access this information while playing back your recordings using the free GPS Logger desktop software (For Windows and Mac, available at www.rexingusa.com).

NOTE: Not compatible with other Rexing dash cams, including the Rexing V1P 3rd Gen, V3 Basic, M1, M2, M3, S1, S1 Pro, and S3.

    Most of the time it work fine. Except that sometime it takes 5 minutes for it to start catching the GPS signal and recording, and couple of times I had to restart it as it seems didn’t work even waited for long time.

    However, the screen shots in the video that explains how to use on YouTube does not equal to what is on the zip file. It is completely different and there is no explanation on how to capture the videos or the pictures. However, I noticed that the GPS coordinates and the speed are reflected on the original file rather than needing to use the tool that was given in the zip file.

    This tracker is for my second V1-4K. It is a very good unit and is not readily apparent to someone standing outside the vehicle, small footprint. The wiring kit also allows the tracker to detect a problem without draining the battery. The screen in the daylight is not easily viewed, too dark, but at night it really shows up. I now have a Rexing in both cars and the RV. I do like the product.

    Have not had any issues with it… My original had a real short cable with it, and I wish this one did as well… It does a good job however… Just more cable than I wanted, but that is better than being too short!

    While perhaps there are others more expensive and have more bells and whistles, very please at the quality of the files I can get, as well as the resolution options available. The higher the resolution the more memory that is used on the card. I want the video for record, if needed, and the fact it records over older files if needed is not an issue for my needs. Clarity wins.

    I have this on two of my trucks and they help with monitoring location and speed when I have to review content. The only gripe is the super long cable. Essentially this device mounts on the windshield about 2 feet from the dashcam but the cable is like 6 feet (I actually haven’t measured it since I already installed it in the trucks). So I have them coiled up and tucked into the ceiling panel.
