    I made the mistake of overlooking the possibility of the prongs not fitting my fuse box. I only wish I had know to add the “Rexing Fuse Tap and Add-a-Circuit Adapter with LP-mini, Mini Fuse, Micro2 blade fuse adapters” to my order. I am still very excited to implement this to my set up.

    This is a great, easy to connect hardwire kit to run your electrical power distribution system to your camera without having to run power connected to your cigar lighter outlet.     Great kit, got it hooked to my fuse box in Mazda CX90 MHEV GT to have parking monitoring, however, it was draining the battery, so switched to the GPS module and plugged it into the cigarette lighter power during driving, and could switch to this Kit for power during parking. Mine drains the battery, as the camera stays on even when the ignition is off, there is a fuse of 11.9V it seems which is not so powerful as this 12V camera to switch it off (or some similar reason the installer gave).

    I have not installed this yet. I ordered this for a truck I have ordered and should be here by March 2022. It has to reach out to the engine compartment because that is where the fusebox is. I hope it’s long enough.

    This kit is must have to setup a dashcam in to the fuse box. It is super easy to install. I like this kit a lot than using the power where we using to charge the phone in the car. Best kit ever and worth the money.
