To be honest this is our 2nd camera and review. Our 1st camera had issues but thru rexing’s customer service they sent a replacement camera with no problem and no cost. The quality of this camera is solid, with metal clasps to secure the back instead of plastic ones. No moisture has gotten into the case or lenses. The picture quality is excellent and videos are crystal clear. Though i think the pictures are at a little distance, when you zoom in, they stay clear. So far this has been the best wifi camera we have had. It connects easily, sometimes it takes a couple of tries when the camera is further away from your house but we have our camera at 40 feet away and i have had no problems connecting. Also, the viewing angle is decent, wider than most of the cameras we have tried. The motion sensors pick up just about anything within its range, you can set it for your sensitivity. With this camera you can also view live thru the app. During this viewing time you are able to snap pictures and take video too, but dont forget to turn it off and disconnect with the remote due to i found it wont take any more pictures if the wifi is still on. Uploading pics take a min or so, But its nice not having to wait to view all the pictures the next day. Batteries have to be changed every other day and it takes 8AA . It is compatible with rechargeable batteries. We get between 800-1200 plus pictures a night . I would recommend this camera to anyone. P.s. if you think that your camera quit taking pictures after you have reviewed so many…check to see if your memory is full, this happened to me and I thought it wasn’t working properly but the memory card was full Also I noticed when I looked at my review under reviews for this camera, the pictures looked a little blurry/ grainy….THIS IS NOT THE CASE, THE PICTURES AND VIDEOS ARE VERY CLEAR

I can get my pictures from this trail cam without having to go to the camera and take out the sd card. Its all done by blue tooth as long as your camera is within range of your home wifi connection. Take great night time photos, haven’t had any issues with the cam so far so good. Would defiantly recommend!

Well worth it. Good camera system. Good buy.

Fantastic Trail Camera! I trimmed the video (the motion detectors detected it very quickly) but i found a fox in the woods behind my house.

out of the box it was easy to set up! I work Armed Security at night so I love the night vision mode! As we all know, the video doe’s not lie! Just what I need to have my back! Easy 3 second “on” mode straight to RECORD!

Best trail camera I’ve had. Really works as advertised. Highly recommended

We abutt a nature preserve which supports many different animals. We??re excited to see what we??ve been hearing for several years. We even have horned owls and that will be a real challenge to capture images. The camera is solidly built. Pixels are very adequate for quality images. The set up was just too simple. Lastly, I purchased this one after reading many on line reviews of it and other trail camera.

I got this as a Christmas present. I am not a hunter. However, we live in the country and have several bird feeders and have nightly visits from deer, raccoons, opossums and the like. So far I’ve trained the camera on one bird feeder and have caught some great shots of birds on the feeder and in flight. Even a hawk swooping in! The directions are simple to follow (even for an old Boomer like me!) Next location will be further out on the property to capture some 4-legged images at night.I can only imagine how well the trail cam would work for hunters.

Haven’t had much time yet to check it out, but so far seems quite capable. Having a little difficulty finding the WiFi app mentioned in the instructions. Not sure if I downloaded the correct one (instructions seem a bit vague) but can get it to run on my phone. Others reviewers who apparently have gotten it to run report great troubles with it. Probably will just pull the SD card each time to see what I’ve captured unless I read of a new and improved phone app.

The picture quality is very good especially during the day. Price is good for the quality. Nicely built, the unit was smaller than expected, which to me was a plus. Slightly complicated to setup. But once you get the hang of it, then not too bad.
DKC –
Everything works fine. The Trail Cam App could be better (I was not able to download files via Wi-Fi) but could at least see pictures and videos were saved. I needed to buy a separate trail camera holder for my mounting situation to properly aim the unit. Instructions included are minimal but adequate and the setup was intuitive for the most part to me. It took me 10 min and I have no experience with trail cameras. Latches could be more secure (latches were non-locking). Uploaded video and photo from the unit capture a mouse in the attic. The traps were for an earlier squirrel problem so I need to change traps!

Awesome camera, easy to set up!

Easy to order, happy with the great reviews, received it quickly. Excited to try it once we receive the SD card!

I like the ability to have hands free with a small pretty decent night vision in total darkness video. I am a paranormal investigator so this is pretty important. It’s portable so I can also use it anywhere anytime. I just wish the picture was clearer. It is a little bit grainy but not enough to distort so it’s ok.
Suzanne –
This camera was easy to setup/install. The pictures are clear and it does not scare the wildlife away. I am completely happy with quality of the pictures and the range that it covers.

Seems tough and sturdy

So far so good. Seems to be of good quality and easy to use. For now I’d say its a good buy, but I won’t know for sure on the quality until I’ve had it for a few years which is why I purchased the extended warranty plan from Amazon.

Disclaimer: I received this device for free in exchange of an honest review. Also, I have no prior experience using a trail camera, so I will not be comparing this device to other trail cameras on the market. History: I have had a Rexing V1P dual camera DVR in my truck for several years now and have been very pleased with it, so when I was asked to try out the Rexing Woodlens H2-4K Wi-Fi Trail Camera, I figured I would give it a shot. Unpacking: Nothing eventful or noteworthy. The camera and accessories mentioned in the description were all packed neatly in the box with the camera. Build: The camera is made of an impact resistant plastic. Appears well made. When you flip off the metal retainer clips on the right side, you have access to the inside of the camera. You will find a small LCD display with easy to use up/down buttons. On the other side you will find a flat panel that conceals the battery bay (8 AA Batteries). The battery cover was not labeled and thankfully I was not in a rush. I am sure there are people that have taken the screws off the LCD side assuming the battery compartment was on that side. Overall, the camera appears well constructed for what it is made for. Function: The instructions are easy to follow and the menu is easy to access and customize. Features: I was surprised to see all of the things this camera can do. I knew it was 4K, had night vision and WIFI, but I did not realize the camera could be setup for time lapse, setup for specific intervals, had a password protection feature and could be setup for external power sources. While I did not confirm, I assume this would allow one to use a separate battery, prime power or solar source. PROS: Compact and feature filled. The pictures I took were pretty good, especially for those at night. I like the ability to download pictures without removing the SD Card. CONS: I was disappointed that with such an advanced camera, there was a mini-usb input. I have not seen one of those since 2013. A USB-C input would have been more appropriate these days. The other issue is with the app. It is called ??trail cam?? and as others have mentioned, there is nothing Rexing on it. There is a Rexing USA app, but its not for the trail camera. Not sure why this is the case.

This camera is excellent and even better for the price. The Rexing Cam was very easy to install and even easier to download the video clips. The picture quality is excellent and it really couldn’t be easier to use. Tha

Just received my P1 Body Cam. Packaging of product was very good. Easy to understand instruction book and really easy to setup and use right out of box. Looking forward to many hours of use.
