    I’ve captured pictures of deer in my orchard the first week, and learned that early morning is their favorite time. Got great pictures and video in low light conditions and the deer are clearly not camera shy. It was very easy to set up and fasten to a tree. I got a few pictures of wind motions on nearby leaves and brush, so it’s best to clear away anything that will be close in the camera’s field of view.

    We got this camera to set up in our open garage to see if two barn cats we adopted we’re sticking around after we let them out of our screened-in porch (as you’re supposed to for newly adopted cats). This camera delivered great quality video and the whole family enjoyed looking through the footage on the computer to see that our barn cats had sure enough, bailed! But three separate cats would come at three separate times in the night to snoop around (and hopefully catch some mice).

    We have now purchased 3 of these for our property. They do have their quirks to figuring out just the right placement and settings, but once you figure it out, they are great. Our only issue has been the batteries tend to drain quickly the colder it gets out.

    Use the Energizer lithium batteries and they will last forever. My cameras takes about 250 pics a week and the batteries have been in them for over a year.
