    I picked this up to replace my previous 30W car charger so that I would have enough power in the car to be able to power my laptop directly from the car charger! Typically in the past I use a Inverter with a charger if I really need the power of the laptop. With this charger I was able to charge my phone and my wifes phone at the same time at max speed (my wifes phone can charge at 45W) and still be able to power my ipod…

    I feel like everytime I use one of these, they are made of plastic, feel cheap, and are very light and breakable. This one, however, is made of a heavier and higher quality material that I think is useful to use in a care for general wear and tear that car products undertake.

    I can’t give a long term review and I also can’t give a review on this being used right from the car cigarette lighter outlet, but I can tell you that if you connect this directly to a 12v car battery that it will work and charges your 100w PD device at 20v as described. Because I didn’t see any problems with it, 5 Stars it is.

    This is pretty much exactly as advertised. One of the cool things is that when I plugged my Samsung note into the charger it said “super fast charger.” I admit that I was somewhat skeptical until I saw that. Too many times I’ve had car chargers claim that they are fast only to find that they are really, really slow. It’s nice to have a charger deliver on its claims.

My car is 10 years old so I wondered if maybe the outlet in my car was messed up. But I gave this a try and wow! What a difference!     Back in my day, we had separate chargers for everything. Every phone, PDA, laptop, whatever, all had proprietary chargers. Nowadays, you can get a single car charger and with the right cables, charge just about everything you could think of. The 100W port is key, as many newer laptops are power hungry. I don’t foresee me needing to charge my laptop in my car, but it’s good to know I can.

    So far so good. This charges my Note 20 Ultra at super fast charging and it does not make my phone think the usb c port has water in it then makes an alarm sound and urges me to unplug when the car is turned off like my old aukey car chargers did, there’s no issue whatsoever leaving this plugged into my phone when the car is turned on or off. I have no shortage of ports now with this, and the second usb c port fast charges my devices.
