The V55 is a 3840 x 2160@30fps resolution front camera with an adjustable lens that is compatible with the Rexing Rear-View Camera Module to add cameras. Personalize your dash cam and choose any of 3 different rear camera views from Rear, Cabin, or Rear Window view.

- Please format the SD card on your camera directly. Before you start using a new memory card, you must format the card within the camera using the format function.
- The built-in supercapacitor is just for emergency file backup, please always keep the dash cam plugged in.

I used to have a rexing M3. This is a little better since itÕs compact with almost the same functions. ItÕs also easy to install since I already have the hard wired power supply. I just wanted this because it has wireless connectivity. Its was easy to figure out how to connect. The only downside for me is that it has a smaller viewing screen compared to an M3.

I have owned two other Rexing cameras, the V1-4k and V2- Front & Back. This camera out performs the other two by miles!
The V1-4k is shown in one of my pictures. It is small enough to not interfere with your vision, BUT it is so small there is no way to see the image without moving the camera thus having to readjust it back to properly record. A real pain. The other picture shows the 45121 mounted in the same position, totally visible from the driverÕs seat.

I have to say this is extremely clear and better than I expected. The parking monitor feature is awesome too. This was my first time using a feature like this. The wide angle lens picks up a great amount of range. I havenÕt tried the voice control yet.

Instructions were a little lacking, however not difficult to figure out. I believe this is the case with most electronics now. Mounting to window was easy, and adjustable camera allows it to be tweaked for the perfect view. I’m happy with this purchase and will recommend to friends!

Overall, the unit is nice, the videos during daylight are very good, and IÕm expecting it to last as long. If you want a 4k video, then this is a nice unit.

Image quality is in general good, however unable clearly read the number plates while in motion. The size is significant compared to V1 which is relatively small and unnoticeable when mounted. The voice prompts donÕt respond all the time. The decals on the screen donÕt line up with the buttons. The dash cam must be connected to a 12V lighter socket, but new cars donÕt come with oneÑoverall pretty decent dash camera.

I had no issues connecting the camera to my phone. The picture/video quality is great and better than previous cameras. The camera support a micro sd up to 256gb which is a lot of video storage capacity. I havenÕt use the modular capabilities but you can install additional cameras to it (rear, cabin), I plan to use it in the future, a good feature to have. Overall this is a great dash camera for a good price. A nice upgrade from my previous one.

The 45121 is my fourth Rexing device. I started with the V1 3R in 2018 and all are still operational as of the time of this writing. However, I have continued to upgrade to new hardware as I have found the occasional improvements to be worth the investment.
The improvements I appreciate most regarding the 45121 include its excellent wide display, which is superior in every way to all previous models I have run. Additionally, the new lenses, its ultra-wide angle of view, and its 4K 3840*2160 resolution are all very good. From my perspective, the 45121 provides a level of detail that exceeds previous models.
Additionally, while I would not consider this unit Ònight visionÓ capable (speaking of the front facing camera as I do not use the in cabin feature), it does offer low light capability that exceed all previous models I am familiar with. Finally, I like the improved GPS features and format, and how they are super imposed over video footage.
However, while I do find this unit to be excellent, it would be nice if addition mounting hardware and or options were included or available.

IÕve had their V1 dash cam since it was released and loved it. I upgraded to a V1 with a capacitor and wifi as I moved to South Florida and new I needed a dash cam that didnÕt have a battery because it would self destruct itself due to the constant summer like climate.
One minor issue with the old dash cams of the first wifi enabled cameras was the download speed. Sure you can download it to your phone, but it took at least 5 minutes to download a video. Now with the new wifi upgraded chip it is MUCH faster than the old. I donÕt need to take the microSD out anymore if I am in a rush to export a clip.
Also the picture quality is much upgraded vs the V1 and also the night clarity is amazing. I had to take a screenshot from my camera to show how good it is.
You will not be disappointed with this dash cam.

My 2nd Rexing USA Dash Cam and IÕm very happy with it. My current V1P with added rear camera worked great, but I wanted to upgrade. Mine is in an Infiniti G60, and sits nicely behind the rearview mirror. I prefer it mounted up and out of the way, with 45121Õs voice control it makes it truly hands free. THANK YOU REXING for making the hardwired power supply backwards compatible.

IÕve had their V1 dash cam since it was released and loved it. I upgraded to a V1 with a capacitor and wifi as I moved to South Florida and new I needed a dash cam that didnÕt have a battery because it would self destruct itself due to the constant summer like climate.
One minor issue with the old dash cams of the first wifi enabled cameras was the download speed. Sure you can download it to your phone, but it took at least 5 minutes to download a video. Now with the new wifi upgraded chip it is MUCH faster than the old. I donÕt need to take the microSD out anymore if I am in a rush to export a clip.
Also the picture quality is much upgraded vs the V1 and also the night clarity is amazing. I had to take a screenshot from my camera to show how good it is.
You will not be disappointed with this dash cam.

The 45121 is my fourth Rexing device. I started with the V1 3R in 2018 and all are still operational as of the time of this writing. However, I have continued to upgrade to new hardware as I have found the occasional improvements to be worth the investment.
The improvements I appreciate most regarding the 45121 include its excellent wide display, which is superior in every way to all previous models I have run. Additionally, the new lenses, its ultra-wide angle of view, and its 4K 3840*2160 resolution are all very good. From my perspective, the 45121 provides a level of detail that exceeds previous models.
Additionally, while I would not consider this unit Ònight visionÓ capable (speaking of the front facing camera as I do not use the in cabin feature), it does offer low light capability that exceed all previous models I am familiar with. Finally, I like the improved GPS features and format, and how they are super imposed over video footage.
However, while I do find this unit to be excellent, it would be nice if addition mounting hardware and or options were included or available.

My 2nd Rexing USA Dash Cam and IÕm very happy with it. My current V1P with added rear camera worked great, but I wanted to upgrade. Mine is in an Infiniti G60, and sits nicely behind the rearview mirror. I prefer it mounted up and out of the way, with 45121Õs voice control it makes it truly hands free. It can be taken down and reinstalled in a few seconds, in case you don’t want to leave it in the sun (or are concerned about theft). You do need an SD card, but that’s not a big deal. I wanted to like this camera more but, it has some issues.
1st the price, for the money you would think it would come with more accessories like a better mounting system. Everything is an accessory that has be purchased separately.
2nd as others have said, the buttons on the bottom don’t line up with the text.
3rd voice commands are iffy, sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. At times you have to repeat the commands for it to respond.
4th At times the app will disconnect and you have to close it and reconnect.
The picture quality is good even at night in low light I also like the screen size. Overall it is a decent camera but, not without it’s quirks.

OK; the camera is good quality, and the resolution is very good also. It has a nice solid mount, and is fast to upload videos using its 5.0 GHz WiFi capability. The title states “Parking Monitor”, but that is not included – it is capable of that for an extra charge. Same thing with a rear or inside camera – not included but available at an extra charge. To be fair, while the additional charge for a parking monitor function was not clear, they were clear in the description that it only had a forward facing camera. They have a good product, but at this price point, they should include some of the basic (like parking monitor) functionality with the base unit.

Mounting was super easy and the system navigation is light years ahead of other brands like Rovi and others that I have used in other cars.
Build quality is solid, and recorded video quality is great. Internal gps was a nice feature I wanted. Voice control is really cool when it comes to locking the current video or having it take a picture.
All in all, a great dash cam and one of my new favorite Rexing cams.

I bought this dashcam to replace my trusty Rexing V1 1080p dashcam. I did some side-by-side comparisons between the two and found the 4K 45121 to be better than the V1. The higher resolution provides a definite advantage for the 45121.
The GPS position and speed are nice features, although the video overlay seemed to be a second or so behind the live speed.

What a good timing for 45121, i was looking for some high end dash cams but none was less than $250. I found 45121 and i tried it last weekend. Picture quality was superb and i can even see the small details of each video. Awesome camera quality. Huston usually gets lots of rain and even during rain this cam captures car plates from far. Upgraded my Rexing v1 4k which I was really happy with. This unit is worth the money for upgrade because not only the software is so much better but the voice command alone was worth the money. Even with my radio playing the camera never missed a command. The wifi connection to the phone was flawless and fast. The older v1 was good but could take a little longer to connect to my phone. The physical buttons on the camera itself was large and spaced out nicely so as to not press the wrong buttons. Trust me, I have other branded dash cams that try to put all these features on the button and it’s a pain to try and press with my big fingers. Once I did all the set up, I’m pretty sure that I wont need to worry about most functions because I can use the voice command. The 2 command that would be most important is “lock recording” and “take a photo”. Works flawlessly. Absolute great camera at a great price. Definitely buy this

Note – I love Rexing products. I find them user friendly and easy to setup. This is a great camera if you don’t need the interior can and rear camera. Power cable runs off the left side which I prefer. I have a campasion photo with my existing S1 and you can see when mounted to the window the screen faces out making it easier to see rather than parallel to the window. Picture is great quality. Night time quality just as good!! DOES NOT INCLUDE SD card. But I’ve got plenty.

Easy to navigate menu to aid in customized setup. Easier to setup than previous dash cams I have owned. Comes with an extra mounting plate for use in multiple vehicles which provides a great extra value.

-Each view shows a wide angle shot so youre able to see other items,people around your vehicle. Camera is great for me as it offers loop recording, motion detection, save overwrites automatically, has great night vision and even allows the ability to see the footage frame by frame with clear pictures of license plates.
-This dash cam gives me safe on the road in busy rush hour traffic as well as in the night .

This is my 3rd Rexing dash cam, but it is my first modular camera. The other two came with separate front and rear cameras which I was able to cleanly install in my trucks. While I prefer to have both the front and rear cameras, my wife does not. She has a Toyota 4Runner which has an upward opening door and a rear window that slides up and down in the door. Mounting a rear camera with her setup was a challenge that I did not want to take on since it required a custom bracket. That is where this single front facing camera (that can be upgraded later with interior and rear addons) really shines for me. The install was very easy. Like my other dash cams, I purchased a OBDII power harness to power the Rexing camera. No splicing wires, no mess. I then mounted it on the window. Just a word of caution, make sure you take your time mounting the bracket that holds the camera. The surface should be cleaned with alcohol to ensure a tight seal. I have never had a bracket come off yet.

Additionally, while I would not consider this unit Ònight visionÓ capable (speaking of the front facing camera as I do not use the in cabin feature), it does offer low light capability that exceed all previous models I am familiar with. Finally, I like the improved GPS features and format, and how they are super imposed over video footage.
However, while I do find this unit to be excellent, it would be nice if addition mounting hardware and or options were included or available.

I’ve been using Rexing 45121 4K dashcam for last few days and I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I was recommended by by family to get a dashcam and went for Rexing, as they use it. I love the picture quality and ease of use. You can set this up in very less time if you read the instructions correctly. Now I have another witness for my driving !!

We went on a road trip, and this thing was a beast. First of all, it was very easy to install and use. It was on during the whole trip, and the video and image quality is brilliant. It picked up license plate numbers further away (in the front view of my car) without problems. I like the fact that I can easily assess the sd storage to extract the recorded videos. I have recorded over a hundred hours of footage without issues so far, thanks to the high storage capacity. Rexing never disappoints, and this is why I keep coming back to their dash cams.

This is our 5th Rexing camera for the past 5 years. It is very nice upgrade to my previous one – V1. A little bit bigger, but not much. The display is with very nice size and the quality of the picture is satisfying. Haven’t use the voice prompts yet. GPS is a nice addition too. Overall it is great dashboard cam with nice resolution. Happy with my new upgrade, highly recommend.

I love my Rexing Dash Cams. I’ve had no problems with my current one but am excited about the updated features on this one. The voice command function is really neat. Having the ability to take a photo instead of having to replay video for something like telling my husband about a sunset is great. I also really like the WiFi capabilities instead of having to pull the memory card out. The picture looks great as well from the other reviews I’ve seen. Can’t wait to get a memory card to get it installed, I do wish one was included.

This dash cam is fantastic! I decided it was time for an upgrade and I know for sure this was the right and great choice! The packaging was secure and kept everything safe. The camera was very easy to install with the included sticky mounts and the camera lens can be adjusted, left, right, up or down so you can make sure that it gets the perfect angle no matter where it gets installed. I found the menus with all the options very easy to use. The cord that comes with it is very long, so it’s easy to hide the wire and route it as wanted without worrying about running out of length. The picture quality and sound quality it picks up is great! The voice commands are pretty cool too and worked just fine when I tried all of them. The screen it has is easy to see and read. Lastly, I have to give major kudos to the 5GHZ WI-FI, when I used the app on my phone it just was speeding fast and downloaded these 120MB larger size videos because of the increased quality in just a few seconds compared to like a minute on my older one with smaller sized videos, a definite time saver. One tip I would suggest is to get a large SD card just to ensure you have plenty of room, I’d say at least 128GB to be extra safe, which compared to a 64GB really isn’t even that much more money.

The Rexing 45121 camera is very easy to install and setup. The relatively small size makes it easy to conceal near the roofline of the front window. It is best to avoid placing the camera lens view through the tinted portion of your window. The adjustable lens in front makes fine tuning the front view very easy to perform. The camera setup is simple to accomplish once you understand the menu and selection buttons as detailed in the included manual.

This is my 2nd Rexing and I only replaced the V3 so I could use the cell ph app to retrieve clips (instead of pulling the SD card out every time which has fumbled and gotten lost under the car seat), plus the higher resolution. I was able to share quality Rexing crash footage before from my V3 so I already trusted Rexing. A drawback with the 45121 is the size which I fear may be too large for legal use in Arizona but on an SUV windshield I’m far less concerned. The V3 was not really capable of detecting activity while the car was parked so the 45121 gives better security in that regard, which is desirable with increases in car break-ins. The batteries being durable in extreme weather is important here in super-hot Arizona. I’m also not worried about making it home before a critical event is overwritten in the event of capturing needed video, or having to take the SD card out and missing all video on the way home — because the 45121 will lock it in. Even if my car isn’t part of the crash, slowing down fast to avoid a recorded accident should be enough to set the 45121 in action locking it in. I like that feature. Lots of plusses. Some fussiness with the settings and large unit size are the only sticky points I can find.

Just completes installation of the camera. installation was easy. Connected to wifi on my phone seamlessly. This was an upgrade from my V1 and the picture quality is lightyears ahead. I like the rexing app so far as it is much easier to deal with than the old method.

cons: Power adapter sticks out. it’s a 90 degree plug but the side i wanted to mount it, it was upside down. Rexing suction mount is incompatible for mounting. I prefer not to have items permanently mounted to my windshield.

Let me start off by, the reason we purchase dashcams are to protect ourselves. Without knowing if the camera is still functioning or not would completely be the opposite effect. I will tell anyone this, I have Rexing in all of my vehicles since 2014. All of them still work flawlessly. All are hardwired with an add-a-fuse so no wires had to be cut or modified. Every time I drive I can count on my Rexing product to be fully operational. I love dashcams with screens, That way you now when it is working and what it is doing at all times. This if a good way to verify you are safe. This specific model feels more defined. image quality is superb.

I think that is is very important to have a dash camera all vehicles, and the 45121 is one of the best dash cameras that I have used.

The Rexing 45121 camera fits the need for the latest Technology: 4K, GPS, Night Vision, Voice Commands and WIFI Connectivity.
Installation was simple: Mounted camera to windshield with supplied pad, Ran the power cable under windshield trim to power outlet.
Installed and formatted micro SD card, entered a few parameters and I was recording.
My favorite feature is during any drive if I view something interesting. I just use a voice command to snap a photo!

I have been a Rexing customer for years now – I use this brand dash cam in all my vehicles now. This is an upgrade to a Rexing dash cam I already had, so I used the existing windshield mount (which is still sturdy from 2 years ago) and the existing wiring. The large display is color and larger than previous model. This has the GPS logger built-in which shows the GPS coordinates in the video as well as speed! I have recommended Rexing to all my friends and family, you can’t go wrong! Great customer support as well!

I’ve picked this dashcam to replace my older dashcam. The screen is much wider compared to the square screen of my older dashcam. It is much easier to review videos on the screen. Rexing has also improved the menu settings and the feel of the dashcam. The buttons feel solid and less plastic-y compared to their older models.
Camera quality is great as always. It is clear during the day and night. It is a solid upgrade to my older dashcam.

Well, trying out this latest dashcam and looking good so far. And it couldn’t have come at a better time as my other one just stopped working. Cold Turkey. Like the recent model of Rexing I’ve tried, quality has always been good. Viewing the images and videos from the computer was also detailed. Good overall coverage of the whole car. Just try to install it towards the center of the vehicle. I was able to re-use the old SD card as well. Let’s see how it works out throughout the months.

This is the 4th Rexing dash cam in my family since 2018 (we already had two V1 and one 24648). All the old ones are working great several years until now. Here I have to said that the quality of camera Rexing built is very good. I got this one for one new car of my family. The 4K video quality is very good and the night vision is super. Similar to other Rexing models, it is very easy to install and it is my first time to use the parking mode and when I tested it, a small shake would active it, amazing. Overall, it is a very good dash cam.

Pros:
4K resolution – videos have been good on Rexing cameras but 4K is really good. Night vision is amazing.
Dual band Wifi with modular capabilities – I don’t connect my phone to the dashcam but it’s a nice to have with options to chose from 2.4 and 5Ghz
Parking monitor – Luckily, I have not yet to use to this functionality so I can’t say how it performs but it’s definitely good to have
Voice command – again, I don’t use this functionality but it’s nice to have.
Cons:
Adhesive mount – Not a con for new Rexing users but as a Rexing owner, the fact that every model has it’s own sized mount is really a con as I have to take out the existing mount, remove all the remaining adhesives to mount a new one. I’ve been complaining about this but here we go again
Modular capability – Camera purchase is needed for modular capability. There is a power input source on the right side for modular use but I find it very tight (see picture)
Not really a con but camera lens is not adjustable, meaning it’s fixed to the body. But the way dashcam is made, the camera angle is just perfect and doesn’t really need to be adjusted.
As other people have pointed out, the buttons don’t align with the labels.
Overall, as usual, Rexing makes great dashcams and it’s a nice camera with crisp video and a large display. I would recommend 45121 to my friend and family as it’s been a reliable dashcam which I value the most.

Video is smooth, and I definitely appreciate the night vision.
I do recommend this cam if you’re getting it for the extra features as well including the collision detection.
I can’t test the collision detection as much for obvious reasons, but using some simulated shaking, it seems to do the job.
Though you may not be using every feature of the dash cam (eg. I’ll still use my phone for my GPS), if you were considering between getting a base dash cam and one with more features, this one I think will hold its value.

This rexing 45121 is replacing an older v1 gen3.
This unit was easy to Install with the provided 12v cable, and has a much smaller footprint on your windscreen than previous models I have had. At first I was skeptical about the fixed lens position however after trying it in multiple vehicles it doesn’t look like a problem due to the wide angle it catches. I recommend purchasing a hardwire accessory kit though as it really cleans up the look of the installation.
I like the fact that you can add additional cameras to this and will be purchasing a rear camera.
