The V5C Basic is a 3840 x 2160@30fps resolution front + 1080p camera with an adjustable lens that is compatible with the Rexing Rear-View Camera Module to add a second camera. Personalize your dash cam and choose one of 3 different rear camera views from Rear, Cabin, or Rear Window view.

This dashcam features superior night vision performing optimally in any light environment making your driving safer during the day and night.

Kindly Reminder

  • Please format the SD card on your camera directly. Before you start using a new memory card, you must format the card within the camera using the format function.
  • The built-in supercapacitor is just for emergency file backup, please always keep the dash cam plugged in.
  • The car USB port may not support enough power for the dash cam, please use the car charger that comes with the dash cam.
  • We are constantly improving our products through firmware updates.

    I really like my V5C camera the front camera and interior camera provide crystal clear images during the daytime and the front facing camera does a really good job at night as well. my only complaint is the IR on the interior cabin camera doesn’t always turn on when its set to “auto” and when it does turn on the center of the image is very well illuminated in a bright blue glow but the edges are not lit at all. so if I aim the interior camera so that the center of the image is between the driver and passenger seats during the day I can see the entire interior of the car but at night with the IR image I can only see between the two seats and the very edge of the seats. My face and body are nearly blacked out. I sent a sample video to Rexing thinking there was something wrong with the IR sensors but they replied that they didn’t see anything wrong with the video I sent. Even with what to me is a somewhat disappointing interior coverage at night and the occasional no IR vision from the interior camera I’m still giving 4 stars to the overall unit.

    I Purchased this camera on December 28, 2018 my brother was driving my vehicle I February. he got a ticket by CHP for a speeding ticket . The officer said he was supposedly going 88 mph. When I reviewed the video HQ the video showed that he was going 64 mph. The judge saw the video he dismissed the ticket.

    It is my first dash cam and it is very easy to use. Clear shot of the inside of the car and side windows. The rear glass at times is blurred out due to over exposure at night. Overall, it is a good dual camera.
